Character Backstory - Tiena Slindar'il
Tiena was born in the backroom of The Silken Rose; a brothel catering to the exotic, both in offerings and clientele. The next few years were hard on Tiena, living on the streets, stealing food where she could. Eventually, stealing for food and basic necessities became easier over time, and she began to branch out, always seeking the thrill of an adrenaline rush that had become like a warm cloak to her.
Character Backstory - Syndel d'Phiarlan
Syndel is the son of Elliael d'Phiarlan and Aslan (Ariana) Githmar of the House Phiarlan. As the son of a high-ranking member of the House, Syndel and his older cousin Silaquan were raised together with the very best tutors and care that House Phiarlan could provide. While Silaquan was trained as a diplomat, however, Syndel was trained to be an agent of the House and a very specialized bard.
Character Backstory - Derek 'Smitty' Smythe
Derek Smythe, known to his friends as "Smitty" is an Irish-American born in Boston (specifically Dorchester Neck or South Boston) to Irish immigrant parents. Derek was orphaned at a young age when both his parents were killed in the Roxbury fire of 1894. Having nowhere else to turn, Derek fell in with an Irish-American street gang known as the Gustin Gang.
